Julie Fishman is a healthcare commercialization executive, venture builder, and strategic advisor with experience across digital health, life sciences, and healthcare. A clinician by training, she has built and grown businesses across startups, growth-stage ventures, and global pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations, bringing a pragmatic, cross-functional perspective to how innovation translates into real-world adoption. She most recently served as Global Head of Commercial at Astellas Pharma’s Rx+ Business Accelerator and held innovation leadership roles at Cardinal Health, where she worked across portfolios of digital health solutions, building commercialization capabilities, go-to-market strategies, and strategic partnerships that enable organizations to move from experimentation to execution.

Julie works closely with founders, investors, and enterprise leaders to navigate the realities of building healthcare businesses from early validation through sustainable growth. She has advised 50+ startups across digital health, biotech, and healthcare, supported venture studios and investors, and serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence. She also co-founded a specialty pharmacy. She focuses on helping organizations build commercially viable businesses and operationalize innovation in complex healthcare environments.

Tomer Meir is a senior operator with 12+ years of experience scaling high-growth startups, launching new revenue lines, and leading cross-functional teams across product and GTM. He holds an MBA from Wharton and has built and commercialized products at the intersection of healthcare, HR, and AI.

Tomer is a member of the leadership team at Healthee, where he leads new revenue initiatives and partnerships. He focuses on turning complex administrative pain points into scalable, AI-enabled products and services. From early market discovery through signed enterprise deals, he owns commercial strategy, packaging, pricing, and GTM execution. He partners closely with product, engineering, and data teams to design and scale monetizable workflows and platforms that generate durable recurring revenue.

Previously, Tomer built and led commercial organizations that achieved 10x revenue growth within a year, negotiated nationwide partnerships generating tens of millions of dollars, and managed a $20M business with full P&L ownership. He has led cross-functional teams spanning product, engineering, finance, marketing, and legal. He also serves as a startup advisor and venture scout to early-stage founders and leading venture firms.

Adam Herbst is a nationally regarded leader at the intersection of law, policy and healthcare delivery. His career spans nearly three decades across government, health systems, nonprofits and the private sector, giving him a unique ability to advise clients not only as legal counsel but also as a strategist, operator and policy architect.

Adam is recognized as a leading authority on healthcare policy, Medicaid innovation and system transformation. He has deep expertise in the corporate and transactional dimensions of healthcare, advising on mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, financings and joint ventures involving hospitals, long-term care facilities, managed care organizations, private equity funds and mission-driven nonprofits.

Before joining Sheppard, Adam served as deputy commissioner of the New York State Department of Health and special advisor to two governors. In those roles, he led sweeping initiatives in Medicaid transformation, long-term care reform and managed care modernization and he chaired New York’s Master Plan for Aging.

Our Moderator – Bailey Morgan, Based in Astoria, NYC, is a versatile healthtech leader who merges clinical expertise with business acumen to accelerate healthcare innovation and community impact. Having started her career as a medical speech language pathologist working within inpatient facilities throughout the boroughs of NYC, she saw firsthand how behind the healthcare tech ecosystem was compared to industries such as tech or finance.

After leaving healthcare to move into the healthtech startup space, Bailey has since raised over $10M in capital, led several successful sales and marketing teams through go-to-market stages in both SaaS and CPG, and has closed over $2M in technology sales herself. She currently serves as Chief of Staff at Groth Pain & Spine, a pain management practice with 10+ locations and 40+ providers, where she leads the change management and technology integrations for the practices acquisitions.

In addition to consulting with various healthcare technology companies, Bailey is a Director and the Treasurer for an NYC-based dementia-focused nonprofit that employs individuals living with dementia and supports families and caregivers.
